Owned Salon that was started in 2002 by my Uncle. I started working as a tanning consultant at our salon near campus during my College years (GO BRONCOS!). After Graduating and having no idea what I wanted to do with my Political Science Degree I decided that small business was really my passion so I stuck with Utan as a General Manager while I tried to figure it all out. We opened a second location in 2012 and I managed both salons while working hard and growing personally and professionally. My Aunt and Uncle presented me with a great opportunity in 2015 to Make Mattawan MINE and it was meant to be from that point on (thank GOD! ). It was at that point that I knew this was meant for me and exactly where I was supposed to be. I have worked hard the last few years to create a salon that feels like HOME. When my clients walk in the door they feel welcomed, and know that they are going to be taken care of by educated staff members who will go above and beyond to help with their tanning goals. We are more than a tanning salon, we are a FAMILY and all will leave the salon feeling that way. We have a tanning facility that caters to all skin types, with the most advanced UV technology. We offer 5 different levels of tanning, spray tanning, and red light therapy. We offer the BEST in tanning skincare through Devoted Creations, and the most important thing is that we make sure all clients are tanning smart and reaching their tanning goals in a safe and responsible manner. We are all trained through the International Smart Tan Network and have continuing education through Devoted Creations, Smart Tan, and the ASA(American Sun Tanning Association). We take pride in our customer service, education, and cleanliness of the salon, and knowing that all clients are treated with our utmost respect.
